PURPOSE: A socket pressing apparatus for burn-in board is provided to prevent a loading error of a semiconductor device due to the bounding caused by external deformation of a burn-in board. CONSTITUTION: A pressing arm(55) is used for pressing a pressing section having the restoring force by a top-bottom movement. The pressing section is formed at a socket for burn-in board. A speed control unit(53) is used for controlling the top-bottom movement of the pressing arm. A displayer(54) is used for displaying a speed of a speed control motor. A motion converter(52) is used for converting rotational motion to straight line motion.
