The hair grip is in the form of a staple (102) made from a plastic-coated, non-rusting metal, e.g. aluminum; it has rounded tips, a narrow top bar, and kinks in its two sides to guide it in a magazine. The staples are fastened in place on locks of hair by an implement similar to a stapler, with a central magazine (103) for the staples and upper and lower pressure bars (104, 105) that push out the staples and fold their tips over. The stapler is ergonomic in shape and can be employed by right- and left-handed persons.
