<p>The operating field cover (1) is folded and protected in a sterile pack prior to use. The pack is made from a sheet of a material such as paper, folded with a main panel (4) under the cover, two upper panels (3) meeting in the middle, and folds (6, 7) at the sides. The two upper panels are sealed together and have flaps that can be gripped to open the pack. The flaps can be pulled apart by a person with non-sterile hands to open the pack, allowing a second person with sterile hands to remove the operating field cover and unfold it ready for use.</p> |
