SECTION EXPANDING AND REINFORCING DEVICE FOR REINFORCING THE SECTION OF A LOWER SIDE OF A SLAB BETWEEN A CROSS BEAM AND A GIRDER OF A GIRDER BRIDGE AND A MOUNTING METHOD THEREOF FOR INCREASING LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY OF THE BRIDGE BY REINFORCING LOAD BEARING FORCE OF THE SLAB

PURPOSE: A section expanding and reinforcing device for reinforcing the section of a lower side of a slab between a cross beam and a girder of a girder bridge and a mounting method thereof are provided to increase load bearing force of the bridge by expanding the section of the slab and to extend the durable term of the bridge by installing the section reinforcing device to the lower side of the slab. CONSTITUTION: In a section expanding and reinforcing device for increasing load carrying capacity of a bridge, H-support beams(20) are mounted between girders(16) mounted on the lower side of a slab(11) of a girder bridge(10) at regular intervals and anchored to the girder. A pair of tension brackets(15) is mounted at the lower side of each H-support beam and connected by a PC(Prestressed Concrete) steel strand(14). The PC steel strand is settled and fixed by a settling tool(18). An H-beam(13) is installed between cross beams on the lower side of the slab and the H-support beam, contacted to the lower side of the slab, and fixed to the lower side of the slab and the H-beam by an anchor(12). A deck plate(17) is mounted over the total area on the lower side of the H-beam. A rubber pad(22) is inserted into a portion where the H-support beam and the H-beam contact to each other. A pair of tension brackets is arranged on the lower side of the H-beam and connected by the PC steel strand. The PC steel strands are settled and fixed by the settling tool. Concrete or high-strength mortar(19) is filled in a space formed between the deck plate mounted with plural H-beams and the lower side of the slab.
