PURPOSE: A mass damper mounting structure of a shift cable is provided to easily install a mass damper to the shift cable without separating the shift cable by splitting the mass damper into male and female mass dampers and to improve durability by stably continuing the mounting state. CONSTITUTION: A mass damper mounting structure of a shift cable(5) is composed of a female mass damper(1) having a mounting hole with the diameter press-fitted to an outer cover of the shift cable and a combining hole separated from the outer cover of the shift cable to form a doughnut-shaped space between the shift cable and the combining hole; a male mass damper(3) having a mounting hole with the diameter press-fitted to the outer cover of the shift cable and a combining cylinder unit(11) separated from the outer cover of the shift cable and inserted into the combining hole of the female mass damper; screw units arranged on the outer peripheries of the male and female mass dampers; and a combining nut(15) joined between the screw units to unite the male and female mass dampers.
