PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting module adapted for mounting an inductor etc. in addition to a semiconductor laser. SOLUTION: The light-emitting module 1a is provided with a stem 3, a semiconductor laser 5 and an inductor 7. The stem 3 has a first lead terminal 9, a base 11 and a pedestal section 13. The base 11 bears the first lead terminal 9. The pedestal section 13 is provided on the base 11. The semiconductor laser 5 is mounted on the pedestal section 13 and has first and second electrodes 5a, 5b. The inductor 7 is mounted on the lead terminal 9 and has one electrode 7a and the other electrode 7b. The one electrode 7a of the inductor 7 is electrically connected to the first electrode 5a of the semiconductor laser 5, and the other electrode 7b is connected to the lead terminal.
