PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo-refrigerator in which surging generated in a centrifugal compressor can be accurately detected. SOLUTION: In the centrifugal compressor 3 of the turbo-refrigerator having an impeller 20 for compressing refrigerant, a resistance temperature-sensor 25 for detecting refrigerant-temperature is placed upstream of the impeller 20.
