PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dome house which is simple in structure, good in workability, and low in costs. SOLUTION: In construction of the dome house, lower ends of five arcuate steel members, for instance, are arranged on a dome circumferential base, and upper ends of the same are converged to a converging member 4 arranged at a dome top portion, to thereby form a birdcaged dome skeleton 6. Then ten curved sectoral segments 3, for instance, each formed of foamed plastic, are circumferentially arranged to form an almost semi-spherical dome wall body 2. At this time, the arcuate steel member 7 is arranged at every other segment 3, for instance, and the dome house 1 is constructed in this manner. The dome house is very simple in structure, easy to construct, and low in construction cost. Further the dome house is relatively easy to transport, and therefore it can be easily constructed even in an area where transportation etc. of building materials are under limiting conditions.
