POLYESTER-CRIMPED YARN, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND WOVEN OR KNITTED FABRIC INCLUDING THE SAME YARN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester-crimped yarn capable of being dyed by using a cationic dye under a normal pressure, having an excellent lustrous feeling of a rayon tone after the dyeing and capable of imparting soft and flexible touch feeling to its woven or knitted fabric. SOLUTION: This polyester-crimped yarn consists of polyester multifilament containing 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid component and adipic acid component as copolymerization components, and exhibits 0.5-4.0 % residual crimping rate and 1.0-5.0 % hot water shrinkage. The method for producing the polyester-crimped yarn is provided by performing a false twist processing of the polyester multifilament containing 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid component and adipic acid component as copolymerization components at 80-130°C false twisting temperature and by 15,000xD-1/2to 28,000xD-1/2(T/m) number of false twists.
