PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey a long document sheet without bending its rear end part. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a document conveyance passage 12 including a lower guide 14, a pair of document conveyance rollers 18 arranged in the document conveyance passage 12, and a document insertion port 22. The document insertion port 22 is composed of the lower guide 14 and an upper guide 16a, and the lower guide 14 is extended in the direction of upstream side further more than a region in which the document insertion port 22 exists to regulate a document manually feeding table 24. A shutter plate member 40 is arranged on the lower guide 14. The shutter plate member 40 is selectively lifted and lowered by a solenoid 42 between an action position where it protrudes upward more than an upper face of the document manually feeding table 24 and its upper end is positioned across a clearance for the upper guide 16a and a non-action position where it does not protrude substantially from the upper face of the document manually feeding table 24.
