PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive-to-manufacture bicycle with a simple structure capable of keeping a transmission range wide. SOLUTION: This bicycle comprises a pedal rotatably installed on a frame side, a wheel rotatably installed to a shaft parallel to a rotary shaft of the pedal, and a drive force transmission means transmitting the rotation of the pedal to the wheel. The drive force transmission means comprises a drive shaft rotatably installed in parallel to a side face of the wheel, a drive roller whose outer periphery contacts a side face of the wheel with the drive shaft as an axis, a drive roller moving means moving the drive roller in an axial direction of the drive shaft, and a gear transmission means transmitting the rotation of the pedal to the drive shaft.
