PURPOSE: A recording medium returning device and a disk changer device are provided to include a stacker returning mechanism for returning a device body unit and a stacker for receiving plural recording media inside and outside the device body unit, and rotatively supporting the stacker. CONSTITUTION: A device body unit(11), a stacker(12) for receiving recording media, and a stacker returning mechanism(31) for transferring the stacker(12) inside and outside the device body unit(11) in a direction parallel to the circumference of a recording medium(1) are included. The stacker(12) is perpendicularly erected outside the device body unit(11), to exchange the recording medium(1) by holding the circumference of the recording medium(1).
