<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive and issue orders for consumables on-line in accordance with user's using conditions of the consumables. <P>SOLUTION: In an order receiving/issuing system for consumables which is equipped with a host device 1, a printer 2 and an order receiving server 5, the host device 1 includes a network interface 13 which acquires from the printer 2 information indicative of the use number of consumables used up to the time at the printer 2, and transmits the information to the order receiving server 5; and an order issuing process part 16 which places the order from an ordering form of the consumables corresponding to the use number. The order receiving server 5 has an ordering form storage part 54 in which information related to a plurality of ordering forms by every use number is stored; and a network interface 51 which receives the information indicative of the use number transmitted from the host device 1, extracts information related to the ordering form corresponding to the use number of consumables used up to the time by the printer 2 from the ordering form storage part 54 on the basis of the received information indicative of the use number, and transmits the information to the host device 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
