PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the layout print of a plurality of images without a large-capacity memory in a printing device and obtain inexpensively prints in which characters and ruled lines with the same color are always inserted independently of the images.

SOLUTION: Second image processing is executed to one raster line image data of a plurality of images generated by image processing units 1001 and 1002 to arrange the result on a one raster line buffer 120. Then, after character data and ruled line data are arranged on the one raster line buffer 120, a quantization processing part 121 executes quantization processing to one raster line data to output print data in one raster line unit.
