<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of restoring the settings of the device to the initial condition when sensing the lead of printing data. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device having the function of changing the settings of the device after one printing job is finished and supporting an EPP mode of a two-way parallel peripheral interface, has a control means 15 for realizing the function of judging that the printing job is replaced by the next printing job and changing the settings of the device to the initial condition at the time when the printing job being sent in the EPP mode gets into a negotiation phase or changing the settings of the device to the settings before the printing of a previous job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
