<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a positive electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with excellent binding force and flexibility, in an electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using an iron-containing compound for a positive electrode active material. <P>SOLUTION: The positive electrode is formed with the use of a slurry composition for the positive electrode of nonaqueous secondary battery made of a water-insoluble polymer and the iron-containing compound dispersed in water. The iron-containing compound is preferred to be an iron complex compound containing alkaline metal (A) expressed in a formula: AyFeXO<SB>4</SB>(where, A is alkaline metal, X is at least one kind of element selected from elements of fourth to seventh group or 14th to 17th group of the periodic table, and 0<y<2), and it is more preferable if X is at least one kind of element selected from among 5th-group or 15th-group elements of the periodic table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
