<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable modem module device having a structure suitable for being built into a predetermined electronic apparatus, and an electronic apparatus having this built-in cable modem module device. <P>SOLUTION: The cable modem module device houses a shielding case 49 and a circuit board 47 so that an RF coaxial connector 36 is exposed to the outside by a shielding case 51. The shielding case 49 houses a tuner 38 having an analog signal processor for transmitting/receiving a high-frequency signal via the connector 36 so that the connector 36 is exposed to the outside. The circuit board 47 is mounted with this shielding case 49, digitally processes signals inputted/outputted to/from the tuner section 38, and has a digital signal processor 39 formed thereon including an IC memory 46 inputting/outputting the digital data.
