<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb catalytic structure which cause no deterioration of base material, allows the surface thereof to exhibit photocatalytic activity for a long period by means of photoirradiation and has excellent deodorizing ability, antifouling ability, antibacterial action and light resistance without requiring elaborate processes. <P>SOLUTION: This honeycomb catalytic structure has a surface layer part containing a photocatalyst (a) and a binder component (B).
