<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary press for letting paper pass horizontally allowing a worker to replace a plate with easy attitude without cutting a web. <P>SOLUTION: A first printing unit U<SB>1</SB>to a fourth printing unit U<SB>4</SB>for bringing plate cylinders 26 into contact with a pair of upper and lower blanket cylinders 25 is arranged in tandem. Lifters 30 provided with web running guide parts 32 on a lower face side of a step 31 are provided on a web inlet side of the first printing unit U<SB>1</SB>, between a second printing unit U<SB>2</SB>and a third printing unit U<SB>3</SB>, and on a web outlet side of the fourth printing unit U<SB>4</SB>, respectively. The web S is evacuated upward or downward from above a paper passing path for horizontal passing by lifting or lowering each lifter 30 to ensure a work space allowing the worker to perform work while he/she stands below or above the lifter 30 so that work such as plate replacement is performed in the work space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
