PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film surface nature of small surface roughness with high smoothness with respect to an optical disk by heating once a plastic film itself at a glass transition point or more and melting it, and imprinting a smooth surface of a mirror plane metal mold, in order to reduce wobbling of the optical disk and to obtain high quality recording and reproducing characteristics by making surface roughness of the optical disk small and making it as an infinite smooth face. SOLUTION: Assuming a manufacturing method of an optical disk substrate which forms transfer layers on the plastic film, while setting the plastic film in a mirror plane metal mold and pressing it with predetermined pressure, the surface of the plastic film is contacted to the mirror plane metal mold, and the transfer layer is formed by heating, and once melting.
