PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time switch allowing a sub-dial to be manually rotated clockwise and counterclockwise, and capable of reducing trouble in time adjustment. SOLUTION: A gear train for transmitting rotation of a motor to a dial 4 is equipped with: a ninth gear 39; and a ninth pinion gear 41 connected to a minute-hand shaft 24 rotatably journaling the ninth gear 39. A circular recessed part is formed on the back surface of the ninth gear 39, and a plurality of slip teeth are formed at certain intervals on the inside surface of the recessed part. Slip pieces 41a each having a tooth gearing with the slip teeth at its tip are projected from the circumferential surface of the shaft part of the ninth pinion gear 41; and a slip mechanism slipping in rotating the motor side by rotation transmitted from the dial 4 side when the dial 4 side is manually rotated without slipping by rotation torque necessary in rotating the dial 4 side by rotation transmitted from the motor side is composed of the slip pieces 41a and the slip teeth.
