PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element having good light emitting characteristics and durability. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element has at least one organic layer including a light emitting layer between a pair of electrodes. The light emitting layer contains at least one kind of metal complex having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 140°C or more (A), a condensed aromatic compound having Tg of 140°C or more (B), and a light emitting material (C).
