PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rubber stoppers from being coupled with one another in transferring them, in relation to a rubber stopper used for a waterproof connector or the like. SOLUTION: In a part, in a peripheral surface of a rubber stopper body 11, close to a front end surface as compared with a crimp part 17, a diameter reducing part 18 reducing its diameter as it approaches the front end surface is formed. At the front end of the stopper body 11, a projecting part 19 projecting radially outward is formed. The maximum outside diameter of the front end surface including the projecting part 19 is so set as to be larger than the inside diameter of a wire insertion hole 14 opened in the rear end surface of the stopper body 11, and to be almost equal to the minimum outside diameter of the crimp part 17 or smaller than it.
