PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize cost down and reduction of power consumption without lowering a communication speed by reducing the number of drivers provided on a signal wire in communication between a main control device such as a CPU and a semiconductor integrated circuit for carrying out operation based on the control command of this. SOLUTION: A slave SL1 outputs input serial data D1 inputted from the CPU 1 to a cascade-connected slave SL2 and to a serial communication control part 11. Based on the inputted serial data D1 of the CPU 1, the serial communication control part 11 judges whether the inputted serial data D1 is addressed to itself. When it is, the serial communication control part 11 switches a selector 13 to select internal output serial data D3 from the serial communication control part 11.
