PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily specifying a server group resulting in the contention of I/O on a resource in a storage device by sharing a single storage device by a plurality of servers. SOLUTION: A server group using a resource in a specific storage device is retrieved and detected from mapping information between a storage device and a server, and the report of I/O contention is prepared by narrowing down only to the performance data of the server group. Thus, it is possible to detect that I/O load is centralized on the resource in the storage device, and to easily specify a server on which a load is imposed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
