PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely detect abnormal prion protein in high sensitivity by using easy operations. SOLUTION: A test kit capable of being mounted on a main body of an inspecting apparatus is shown in the figure. The kit includes an introducing means 21 for a sample, an enriching means 22 for enriching the abnormal prion protein, a detecting means 23 for detections, and a preserving means 24 for preserving waste liquid. In the case the abnormal prion protein is detected from the sample, the whole test kit is discarded after being removed from the main body of the inspecting apparatus, thereby carrying out a process for making the sample harmless without exposing it to open air.
