PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-proof valve of high reliability capable of surely and emergently sealing a fluid channel in the event of fire, and having high reliability for the prevention of secondary disaster. SOLUTION: In this fireproof valve, a valve main body 5 is rotatably accommodated in a valve casing 3, an outer peripheral face 5b of the valve main body 5 is brought into contact with elastic seal members 8, 10 mounted in the valve casing 3 to seal the fluid channel L, when the valve main body 5 is rotated to a valve closing side, and further a thermal expansion member 13 mounted in the valve casing 3 is thermally expanded to emergently seal the fluid channel L, when the elastic seal members 8, 10 are heated in the valve closing state. The thermal expansion member 13 has the thermal expansion directionality by itself, and is mounted so that its thermally-expanding direction is an emergency sealing direction.
