PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve versatility by making it possible for standardized returnable cases to be used for freight of various sizes. SOLUTION: The returnable case comprises: an approximately rectangular skid 1; first side frames 2 attached to the four sides of the skid 1 so as to be freely detached; and top frames 4 connecting the tops of opposite second side frames 3. The skid 1, the second side frames 3, and the top frame 4 are formed so that they are freely extended or shortened in the directions of their length. The first side frames 2 are provided with link arms 5. The first side frames 2, etc., can be extended or shortened by attaching the link arms 5 to telescopic arms 6 or side frames 3.
