<p>The invention relates to a method of validating the detection of a correlation peak between: (i) a signal transmitted by a plurality of navigation satellites and received by a radio navigation satellite service (RNSS) receiver, whereby said signal corresponds to a sum of signals each sent by a satellite and modulated by a spectrally-spread signal which is characteristic of the satellite; and (ii) a local reply generated by the receiver, said reply being the reply from a spectrally-spread signal which is characteristic of a sought satellite. The inventive method comprises a step consisting in determining the correlation function 3 according to the time between the signal received and the local reply. The method further comprises a step consisting in comparing said correlation function 3 with the theoretical autocorrelation function 2 according to the time of the above-mentioned spectrally-spread signal that is characteristic of the sought satellite.</p> |
