摘要 <p>PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of slag-forming materials adding to hot metal for removal of impurities contained in hot metal by using waste refractory bricks. Accordingly, the slag forming materials improve quality of the iron. CONSTITUTION: The slag-forming materials are produced by the following steps of: selecting waste refractory bricks based on alumina or magnesia, and crushing; mixing 70wt.% of crushed bricks, 20wt.% of CaO and 10wt.% of MgO, wherein MgO and CaO are added for slag formation, dephosporization, and protection of furnace bricks; shattering the mixture to a size less than 40mm; screening to separate granules from powders. The resultant slag-forming materials, having 1200- 1300deg.C of melting point and 1.4-1.7g/cm3 of density, comprise 36.31wt.% of CaO, 0.50wt.% of SiO2, 0.69wt.% of Fe2O3 and 55.55wt.% of MgO, or 42wt.% of CaO, 21.6wt.% of Al2O3, 9.5wt.% of SiO2, 2.5wt.% of Fe2O3 and 19.8wt.% of MgO.</p>
