PURPOSE: A text display device for vehicles is provided to automatically display driver phone numbers when the driver is absent by using a transparent display device on one side of a wind shield glass. CONSTITUTION: A key set detector(100) is provided on a key set of the vehicle and detects the presence of a start key. A lock detector(200) is provided on a door lock(700) and detects the lock status of the door. A transparent display device(300) is provided on one side of a wind shield glass. A controller(400) is connected to the key set detector, the lock detector, and the display device. The controller applies power to the display device when the start key is removed and the door lock is on a status of a lock. The display device displays predetermined texts.
