<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for underwater footwear easy to manufacture and capable of being reduced in cost. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the underwater footwear 1 worn for underwater sports includes a foot-shaped bag manufacturing process for cutting a plurality of cloth pieces 10a from foam cloth to form them into a three-dimensional foot-shaped bag 10, an upper part reinforcing process for pressing a flat plate-shaped planar support sheet P into the foot-shaped bag 10 to form the upper part 11 of the foot-shaped bag 10 into a planar shape and compression-bonding an unvulcanized rubber sheet 20a for the upper part to the upper part 11, a heel part reinforcing process for forming a heel part 12 into a planar shape by the planar support sheet P to compression-bond an unvulcanized rubber sheet 20b for the heel part to the heel part 12 under heating and a side surface part reinforcing process for pressing a side surface support plate S, of which the side surfaces have an almost footprint shape, into the foot-shaped bag 10 to form both left and right side surface parts 13 of the foot-shaped bag 10 in a planar shape and compression-bonding unvulcanized rubber sheets 20c for side surface parts to both side surface parts 13 under heating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
