<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus equipped with an accounting device capable of quickly performing a printing operation in accordance with user's demand by introducing a convenient accounting system. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus equipped with an accounting means for accounting in accordance with the output of images from an image forming means and charging from the inserted amount, and a control means for controlling various means, the accounting means is provided with a charge decision means for comparing prescribed charge information with payment information or comparing the payment information with charge information, and then, outputting the charge insufficiency information when the payment information is smaller than the charge information, and in the case the charge insufficiency information is entered, the image reading means is actuated by the control means, but, the operation of the image forming means is stopped by the control means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
