PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of reducing a processing time by minimizing storage areas to be reserved at image processing applied to image data and considerably decreasing the number of access processes applied to the storage areas required until the result of the image processing is obtained.

SOLUTION: An image correction processing section 132 is characterized in a configuration that an image correction buffer 134 for storing image data by at least M+(N-1) lines is reserved, an address of the image correction buffer 134 is set as a decoding destination when it is discriminated that the image correction processing requires decoding processing, and the image correction processing is applied to the image data in the set storage area.
