PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and lightweight portable tripod which has pneumatic legs made of cloth or the like and hence can be folded when it is not used and can be made good use of while the tripod being used by putting it directly on the ground even outdoors on a journey by setting the legs high and adjusting a horizontal level by opening/closing a fastener. SOLUTION: The fastener (2) is attached to a part of the leg (1) made of cloth or the like and formed cylindrically, an airbag (3) is housed inside and an air port (4) is attached thereto. The leg (1) is attached to a pedestal (5) through a pin (6) so that it can rotate. When the leg is swollen, a guide (7) is attached so as to support the leg. In the adjustment of the horizontal level, the fastener (2) of the leg (1) is opened, and the air equivalent to the swell of the airbag (3) is discharged to the outside to adjust the height of the leg (1). When the tripod is not used, the air is let out from the air port (4), the guide (7) is detached, and the leg (1) and the airbag (3) are folded, then the leg is rotated at the pin (6) part and wound round the pedestal (5).
