PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium writing system which enables a user to view the occurrence of abnormality at the time of writing of information to a memory means in a medium or permits automatic detection thereof and prevents mismatching of writing of the undesired information to the memory means and the information of a display means and a medium writing method. SOLUTION: The information to be written into a display memory medium 2 is prepared in a memory 17 and after the information is written to a memory section 22 of the display memory medium 2 from a read/write section 11, the information is read out and is displayed on a comparative display section 14. Also, the information is written from a display rewriting section 12 into a display section 21 of the display memory medium 2, the display contents of the display memory medium 2 are read by a read section 13 and are displayed on the comparative display section 14. The coincidence of the contents can be checked by comparing the contents displayed on the comparative display section 14. The information written to the memory section 22 invisible to the eyes can be checked and the correspondence to the contents displayed in the display section 21 can also be checked.
