PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor excellent in mechanical strength and electrical properties. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising a conductive support body and a photosensitive layer located on the conductive substrate, the photosensitive layer forms a surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor and consists of a single layer or a plurality of stacked layers, the photosensitive layer consisting of the single layer or a layer forming the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor in the photosensitive layer consisting of the plurality of layers contains a first charge transport compound having one or more chain-polymerizable functional groups and a second charge transport compound having no chain-polymerizable functional group in an amount of 5.0-45.0 wt.% with respect to the amount of the first charge transport compound, and the first charge transport compound has been polymerized in the photosensitive layer consisting of the single layer or in the layer forming the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor.
