PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing, with good repeatability, a carrier for ligand binding to efficiently together bind ligands, the carrier reducing background when using the carrier for immunological measurement, etc. with the ligands carried thereon. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the carrier for ligand binding, which includes gelatine and gum arabic, is characterized by comprising a process for preparing the carrier for ligand binding by mixing the gelatine and gum arabic in a water solution containing water-soluble organic solvent at a concentration of 20 to 40 (v/v)%.
