PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and improve the maintainability in case of discharging oil from a first and second oil reservoirs in an engine lubricating structure in which the first oil reservoir communicating with the lower portion of a crank chamber and the second oil reservoir with a reed valve interposed between the first oil reservoir and itself are formed in a crankcase. SOLUTION: The lowermost portion of the second oil reservoir 82 is located at the lower portion of the first oil reservoir 81. A vertically extending drainage hole 96 is arranged at the lower portion of the crankcase 12 in such a manner that the upper end of the drainage hole is made to open in the bottom of the first oil reservoir 81, that the intermediate portion thereof is made to open in the lowermost portion of the second oil reservoir 81, and that the lower end thereof is made to open in the bottom of the crankcase 12. By a drain bolt 97 screwed in the crankcase 12 and inserted in the drainage hole 96, communication between the lowermost portions of the first oil reservoir 81 and the second oil reservoir 82 is intercepted, and communication between the lowermost portion of the second oil reservoir 82 and the exterior of the crankcase 12 is also intercepted.
