PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave absorbing and sound insulating wall for a road installed at a low cost while obtaining sufficient sound insulating effect and radio wave absorbing effect with almost the same degree of thickness as a conventionally used sound insulating wall. SOLUTION: This radio wave absorbing and sound insulating wall for the road is provided with posts 3 vertically erected at fixed spaces, and wall body units 4 laid between the posts and fixed at both ends to the posts. The wall body unit 4 has a box-shaped casing 10 formed of a metallic material reflecting radio wave, and opened on the front face side, and an absorber 40 with sound absorbing property and radio wave absorbing property is stored in the casing 10. The front open part of the casing is closed with a perforated board 26 formed of a material with radio wave transmitting property, and the metallic material exposed parts of the front face side peripheral edge part of the casing and the front face of the post are covered with radio wave absorbing sheets 36 with radio wave absorbing property.
