PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building board in which an irregular pattern having a cubic effect is formed on a surface. SOLUTION: Substantially square-shaped projecting blocks 2 and recessed blocks 3 are arranged on the surface of the building board 1 at random via joint grooves 4, but the projecting blocks 2 are adjoined surely to the upper and lower sections and the left and right of the recessed blocks 3. When the building board 1 is to be manufactured by a paper-making method, the materials of recessed block 3 sections are made easy to move to the adjacent projecting block 2 sides, when an embossing finish is carried out on the surface of a paper-making mat.
