PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper blade facilitating attachment/detachment of a cap member capable of surely fixing a wiper rubber and a vertebra. SOLUTION: The wiper blade is equipped with a raised ridge 21 and slits 24A, 24B on the cap member 7. The wiper rubber 2 is provided with a recessed part 25 orthogonally extending to the longitudinal direction. The raised ridge 21 is fitted to the recessed part 25 and the cap member 7 is mounted by fitting of vertebras 3A, 3B to the slits 24A, 24B. When mounting the cap member 7, the cap member 7 is mounted to the wiper rubber 2 in the state where the wiper rubber 2 is extended to the longitudinal direction until the vertebras 3A, 3B do not come to fit to the slits 24A, 24B. The vertebras 3A, 3B are slid into the slits 24A, 24B by contracting the wiper rubber 2 to the natural length. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
