PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rapidly and surely detecting and identifying RNAi (interference) naturally existing in a cell. SOLUTION: The method for the detection, identification and/or quantification of si(small interfering)RNA specific to at least one specific gene in a sample comprises: (i) a step of preparing an array on which a nucleotide corresponding to at least one gene and/or transcript thereof, wherein the polynucleotide is set on a previously determined position; (ii) a step for isolating siRNA from a target cell; (iii) a step for contacting the siRNA with an array of capture probes under hybridization conditions, wherein a trapped molecule is hybridized with the siRNA; and (iv) a step for detecting a signal or a change in a signal on the array existing at a specific position of the array; wherein the position of the signal and/or change in the signal are index data items.
