<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to select an interpolating method depending on a sound ray data density regarding an ultrasonic image obtaining method and an ultrasonic diagnosing device. <P>SOLUTION: For this ultrasonic image obtaining method, an ultrasonic image region G by a sector scanning or a convex scanning is divided into two regions of an upper region G1 and a lower region G2. In the upper region G1, a picture element value q (x and y) of an ultrasonic image is calculated from sound ray data p (r and θ) by a non-linear interpolation, and in the lower region G2, the picture element value q (x and y) of the ultrasonic image is calculated by the sound ray data p (r and θ) by a linear interpolation. Thus, the interpolating method can be selected depending on the sound ray data density, and a desirable image quality can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
