<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide basic feed for livestock intended for effectively utilize bamboo through bringing bamboo into feed. <P>SOLUTION: The basic feed for livestock comprises using the swollen crushed material of bamboo produced by crushing with a screw type crushing and swelling device. The screw type crushing and swelling device has a mechanism of crushing and mashing with rotation of a screw while forward feeding forcefully one section or the whole of bamboo canes, culms, branches and leaves, skin, and underground stems, and crushing while loosening bamboo fiber, discharging the crushed product outside the device with force feed strength of the screw and swelling it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
