摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an optimum disengage control of a transmitted torque changing mechanism in accordance with the vehicle operating situation. <P>SOLUTION: The control amount per unit time when the transmitted torque changing mechanism is disengaged after the speed change is ended, is decided or changed in accordance with the vehicle operating condition. When changing-over is made from the torque transmission by the transmitted torque changing mechanism (for example, assist clutch) into the torque transmission by a meshing type transmitting mechanism after the speed change, a step in the torque may generate a torque vibration in the transmission output, depending upon the control of the transmitted torque changing mechanism. At this time, the degradation of the shift feeling owing to the axial vibration when the speed change is ended, is suppressed by deciding or changing the control amount so that the disengagement takes place gradually according to the vehicle operating condition. The speed of disengagement is adjusted according to the vehicle operating condition, for example the calorific value of the transmitted torque changing mechanism.
