<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a stream data recording and reproducing apparatus for correcting stream data received with rainfall attenuation and recorded while including an error part that can not be corrected by itself, using updating data obtained via a communication network, and reproducing the corrected data. <P>SOLUTION: A stream data recording and reproducing apparatus is realized by storing number information relating to the start and the end of an erroneous data part in a management information creation control means 25 when receiving, recording and reproducing a broadcasted bit stream after replacing its recorded erroneous data part with a normal data part obtained via the communication network, recording the normal data part obtained from the communication network in the area different from a broadcast recording area using a recording means 32, and reproducing the recorded bit stream after switching its erroneous data part with the normal data part on the basis of the number information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
