<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a violaceous-laser-sensitive composition having high sensitivity to laser light in a violaceous region, excellent in safelight aptitude under a yellow lamp, and suitable for use particularly as a dry film resist material, and also to provide an image forming material using the same, and an image forming method. <P>SOLUTION: The violaceous-laser-sensitive composition contains (A) an ethylenically unsaturated compound, (B) a sensitizer comprising an imide compound represented by a formula (I), and (C) a photopolymerization initiator. The image forming material is obtained by forming a layer of the photosensitive composition on a temporary support film. The image forming member is obtained by stacking the image forming material on a substrate to be worked with the photosensitive composition layer side downward. In the image forming method, the photosensitive composition layer of the image forming member is scanning-exposed with laser light of 390-430 nm wavelength and developed to produce a negative image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
