<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection apparatus capable of inclined projection with distortion correction applied thereto without losing projection illuminance and provided with an electronic blackboard function having a function of canceling the distortion of a photographed video image by applying correction, equivalent to reverse correction to projected video image distortion correction, to the photographed video image, and to provide a projection method. <P>SOLUTION: An image distorted in a reverse direction to a direction of distortion caused on a screen 20 on the basis of a rectangle is displayed on a light bulb and the image is projected via a projection lens. Thus, the distortion of the video image displayed on the screen is corrected and visually recognized as a corrected projection video image 31 whose contour is rectangular. A photographing video image 32 is obtained as an output from an imaging element 12 for imaging the corrected projection video image 31. Since the photographing video image 32 is distorted, an imaged video image distortion correction means 33 is used to obtain a corrected photographing video image 34 in order to correct the distorted image 32 into a video image whose contour is rectangular. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
