ELECTRONIC COOLER AND ITS DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the maintenance of an electronic cooler by exactly grasping the operating condition of the cooler, and to improve the measurement accuracy of an analyzing device mounted with the cooler regarding the electronic cooler and its diagnostic system.

SOLUTION: The electronic cooler having a detecting means for cooling temperature is characterized by having an arithmetic processing means to judge the operating condition of the cooler from the cooling temperature and the ambient temperature. Also, the diagnostic system of the electronic cooler is characterized by judging the operating condition of the cooler based on a plurality of reference temperatures settable from the characteristics of the electronic cooler. Furthermore, the diagnostic system is characterized by performing a judgment operation including the steps of: comparing the ambient temperature with a reference temperature; comparing the cooling temperature with the reference temperature; and comparing the ambient temperature with the cooling temperature.
